Helene Vonnegut - Potter

Helene Vonnegut is a studio potter residing on St. George Island, MD and in Alexandria, VA. Her Foreign Service career inspired ceramics collection while on international assignments. The collecting led her to clay exploration beginning in 2005 at Northern Virginia Community College. Appreciating the culture and history captured in ceramics, she works with white or red stoneware to create appealing works that function in the home or allure to the garden. Her hand-painted ware is collaborative work with another artist, C.M. Crouch.
